Remembrance

This work consists of photograms of objects rescued from waste creating new identities, constructing an alternative reality with reference to texts such as Robinson Crusoe’s journey, Ray Bradbury’s Martian Chronicles and other science fiction authors. Through these images these objects become a portal to fantastic adventures and a cosmos for sublime imagination. The constructed artefacts depict the idea of origins but also attempt to explore the surreal qualities of photography to illustrate the impossible and occupy a liminal space between reality and fantasy.
